Code of Conduct

Supplier Code of Conduct

Dellia Group AS and its subsidiaries has implemented the following ethical Code of Conduct (CoC), which applies to all our suppliers and business partners. This Code of Conduct is based on internationally recognised requirements for employee rights and human rights, the ILO fundamental conventions and the UN universal declaration of human rights, in addition to our own ethical and environmental requirements.

Product formulation and ingredient guidelines

Added salt

Our company is committed to minimizing the addition of salt to our products, we strive to use only the necessary amount of salt required for preservation or flavor. Our team continuously explores alternative seasonings to maintain the taste quality of our offerings. Regular reviews and adjustments to our recipes may be conducted to ensure we meet our lower-salt objectives while delivering delicious products.

Added sugar

Our guidelines on added sugars regulate how we develop products in terms of adding sugar to products. We strive to add as little as possible, and only when needed. Our guidelines state that we should limit added sugars to 10%, in line with general European retailers and Health authorities recommendations. The reduction of added sugar in our products is a continuous work on both existing products and new developments.

Country of origin and place of production transparency

Our company believes in full transparency, and we aim to disclose both the main ingredient's country of origin and the place of production for all our products. We are committed to providing consumers with clear and accurate information about what they consume. Each product label will clearly indicate this information, ensuring our customers are well-informed. This commitment reflects our dedication to honesty, quality, and consumer rights.

Ethical and certified cashew nuts

Our company is committed to using only ethical and certified cashew nuts in all products containing this ingredient, acknowledging the challenges workers and farmers face in the supply chain. We prioritize sourcing Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance certified cashews, or those from farms we control and supervise, to ensure safety standards are upheld and fair pay is provided. This practice guarantees that our cashew nuts come from socially responsible sources.

Ethical and certified cocoa

Our company is dedicated to using only ethical and certified cocoa in all products containing this ingredient, recognizing the challenges workers and farmers face in the supply chain. We prioritize sourcing Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa, or cocoa from farms we control and supervise, to ensure that safety standards are met and fair pay is provided. This practice ensures our cocoa comes from socially responsible sources.

GMOs

We are committed to providing safe, high-quality products to our customers. As part of this commitment, we have established guidelines forbidding the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in our products. This ensures compliance with European regulations and reflects our dedication to natural and sustainable practices.

Ingredient list transparency

Our company aims to disclose the percentages of 90% of all ingredients in our products, exceeding EU food legislation requirements. We believe that providing this information is in the consumers' best interest and aligns with their right to know what they consume. Our commitment to transparency ensures that consumers can make informed choices about our products.

Palm oil

Our company does not use any palm oil in our products due to the significant environmental and social issues associated with its production. Palm oil production destroys habitats, increases human-wildlife conflicts, and contributes to human-driven climate change. By avoiding palm oil, we are committed to protecting ecosystems and promoting sustainability.

Soy

Our company only uses soy in our products sourced from countries where there is no risk of deforestation in rainforest areas. When this is not possible, we ensure the soy we use is Pro Terra, RTRS, or similarly certified.

Titanium dioxide

Our company does not use titanium dioxide as a colorant in any of our products. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our consumers by avoiding potentially harmful additives. By excluding titanium dioxide, we prioritize natural and safe ingredients in line with EU regulation.
