Glossary

Here you’ll find explanations to words and phrases used throughout our website. In addition to facts, you will also se definitions on terms we use so that there is a clear understanding of what we mean by them in our communication

No added sugar

By "no added sugar" we mean that we haven't added any sugar to the products. They may still contain naturally occuring sugars, but none were added by us.

The EU regulation states the following:

WITH NO ADDED SUGARS

A claim stating that sugars have not been added to a food, and any claim likely to have the same meaning for the consumer, may only be made where the product does not contain any added mono- or disaccharides or any other food used for its sweetening properties.

If sugars are naturally present in the food, the following indication should also appear on the label: 'CONTAINS NATURALLY OCCURRING SUGARS'.

High fibre

If one of our products have been labelled or marketed as containing "high fibre", we mean that our products contain at least 6g of fibre per 100g. Before making these claims we make sure to analyze the product with Eurofins, a renowned third party European labaroatory, to make sure that our claim holds its promise.

The EU regulation states the following:


HIGH FIBRE

A claim that a food is high in fibre, and any claim likely to have the same meaning for the consumer, may only be made where the product contains at least 6 g of fibre per 100 g or at least 3 g of fibre per 100 kcal.
